The equipment needed for speech language therapy services via telepractice includes: an email address, any device with external or built in webcam and a connection to the internet.
The caregiver will be very involved in sessions. The SLP in the session will be teaching and modeling strategies for you to try hands on with your child during the session.
We provide a free consultation to answer questions, share information, try out the technology and meet one of our SLP's. Together we will determine if it appears that telepractice may be a good service delivery model.
Each individual plan is different in whether or not online speech-language therapy services are covered. We recommend contacting your insurance company directly to determine if it is a covered service. We do not bill insurance directly but will send insurance codes and receipts to you for reimbursement if it is a covered service. We also are in network providers with several health insurance companies.
We currently provide telepractice services in CA, CO, WA, and IL
